Too much free time at work, my friend. I spend a lot less time here on the weekends, believe it or not. 😀

Sorry, I'm just tired of hearing some of the old guard complain about how things used to be better before the "n00b invasion" or something. Flaming people for posting crap isn't going to make a difference in the signal to noise ratio, because there's always going to be 1 worthwhile post for every 10 nef posts. Personally, I'd be glad if there WASN'T a post count or join date displayed under my user name. That might eliminate a lot of this BS.

There's a LOT of "old timers" who don't do what I said above, so don't think that I'm tarring EVERYONE with the same brush.

It's been so long since the good old days here I have almost forgotten what the good old days were(Pre Fusetalk). This place has been static for the last 3 years. It hasn't gotten worse or better.

No one said that all the n00bs are bad. There's a few that know how to behave and get along, and actually contribute something worthwhile to the forums.

But there's also an overwhelming amount of rodents that join, raise their postcount to 40+ a day by neffing, or the opposite, keep it at 1-2 posts a day and use those posts to make crappy remarks or cheap shots in an argument before disappearing again into the ether.

Thankfully, I'd have to say that you're neither, so don't get all bent out of shape. 😉
