Manhattan is as random as you can get. You *almost* might as well be in any other city. At least tell me you didn't get pizza in Times Square.

yelp led me to one and my local friends brought me to the other. Both were 4* with hundreds of reviews from the aforementioned site, and quite frankly the pizzas that I get in LA were superior to both (and I will fully admit that the places that I go to in LA do not represent the average quality level).

I have not tried the "big 5" or w/e so that'll be my goal for the next go-round.

The crust is my favorite part of pizza. The toppings are just there to accentuate the crust.

i meant you could just eat toppings.

but then i remembered there are pizza topped pizzas so i edited a pic in. didn't edit the context of my post.

Just toppings would be something like the marshmallow only cereals.

I think that's it. It's various flavored pizzas as toppings. Each individual topping appears to represent a different type of pizza.

but how does that translate to "you don't even need dough" when there's obviously dough there?

If pizza has enough stuff on it to make it worth eating, it will fall off if you hold it upside down. I eat mine right side up, so the good stuff ends up in my mouth, not my lap.

that is a real conundrum. but i have a solution. eat the pizza with *you* upside down. this will be a revolution in the consumption of pizza.

The solution to the toppings falling off is to take another pizza and place it upside down on top of the main pizza so the topping side faces each other. It's going to look kind of bland though, so maybe put some bacon on it or something. In fact if you want them to stay together you should wrap the whole thing in bacon.

I hate a good pizza with an inedible crust. A local place here is to die for. End to end taste and texture, even on a plain slice.

All the good stuff is on top, but the first thing that you taste with your tongue is dough

Since most of the flavor is detected in your nose as you chew your idea is idiotic. Eat pizza with a cold, it might as well be hot cardboard.

Although i guess stromboli doesnt have sauce inside. A pizza shop near a previous job had a covered pizza though . Forget what they called it

inb4 chicago style pizza casserole

To be fair, they are called pizza pie, not just pizza. You don't eat a thin crust pie so why would you eat a thin crust pizza? Pies are made in a shell in a pan and so are pizzas because they are a pie.

I love both though so I'm torn.
