I oppose the use of force by either side. But seeing how the bureaucrats were so supportive of the armed rebels in Lybia against the corrupt oppressive regime, they should just resign today before the situation escalates here.

They need to just take a big truck with a water cannon and use water blasts to disperse the trespassers. That should take care of the problem.

This is exactly why the left needs to be as well-armed and well-informed as the right. We have the right to defend ourselves with force too.

Everyone needs to be well-armed and well-informed, I think that's the whole point. I'm not worried about whether we agree, what's more important is that we at least look for the answers for ourselves.

No, you only have the right to defend yourself from unlawful actions. You don't have the right to "defend" yourself from the policy performing lawful actions to detain or remove law breakers like these protestors.

They are not lawbreakers, the city said they could come back after they used the plaza for a private wedding, the mayor gave the cops the nod and they beat the shit out of returning campers, fracturing a returned marines skull.

Even the mayor has backed down now and let the protesters camp.

You premise is flawed, -and quite unamerican.

Now the camps are literally 3x the size. Bad cops and conservatives gotta be the stupidest self-defeating morons in the world. Funny how fascists stick together.

On that note the local police are now bringing supplies to camps to show solidarity with the large influx of fresh camping vets that are joining daily now.

When will you reactionary types ever learn that being assholes will do nothing but unite everyone against you not in your little insular media clique?

Then I take it you won't defend yourself when the government passes a law to grab your guns and goose steps up to your front door?

Pretty amazing to see a conservative backpedal on strict Constitutionalism.
