you can actually do email sub-domains, so we could have for ex: Paulson@forums.anandtech.com

I don't think that will happen though, as it's a lot of work to do, even for the paying subscribers... although I wouldn't mind managing it for nothing, and I'm sure there would be a lot of volunteers, I doubt this would ever really take off

Sure - maybe for paying members. I don't think it will fly though. That takes away more system resources and adds another piece for the anandtech team to manage. Next thing you know, the forums issues will be clogged with technical support requests.
