"Should not see me" message after ATI driver install...

Anyone else get this message after installing the 3.6 Catalyst Drivers? (Not control Panel)

The last time I saw this was with flakey creative SBLive! drivers so its starting to worry me. Although everything seems to work fine... Think this is worth a reformat 😛? Haven't done one for about 6 month...

You get that shutting down? I have seen it before when I was shutting down but dont see it now after a WinXP full install. I had Win2kpro up until a week ago and use to see it then, not sure if it has to do with the OS might just be one of those weird ATI driver things.

I think I use to get that with Norton also on my old system.

I've seen it once (and only once) right after I clicked "Restart Now" when the driver installation was finished. It seemed to kill a process too early or something like that.

I forgot to mention that I'm on Windows XP.

I saw it after installing the nForce2 drivers (when I was first setting up my new system) but haven't seen it again. I was a little disturbed by it at the time, but it seems to be harmless.

You saw it? Now we have to kill you.....

This seems to be normal. Just a little nervewracking when you are trying to get things to work. I see that message when installing nvidia drivers as well.
I dont think there is anything to worry about here.

lol 😛

Yeah, well I guess it's nothing to worry about since my system seems fine. Although the new catalyst drivers haven't fixed the ESC key bug in CS. Or the rather low FPS I'm getting: ~50 FPS at 1024x768 @16bit, no truform and no antialiasing. Meh!

I thought this was an ATi thing as all my comps had ATi, but after a FX 5200 install and a TNT2 install recently I saw this. Strange
