Should Jim Irsay have sold the Colts to Peyton Manning?

Discuss! I think it would've been a great idea and Peyton would've been the first owner/player in decades!

wonder when the mods are going to start limiting threads about this??

Don't worry, this thread is a veiled commentary on the sheer amount of Manning threads.

And if not, go with it. IndyColtsFan needs your support during these dark, trying days.

Maybe they'll start handing out vacations for people who start these threads. We can call it the Manning Banning.

What is the word on the street in Indiana, about how Irsay handled this? I haven't talked to my relatives there yet.

Lots of teary-eyed people here during the press conference. I think most people think Irsay should've tried to keep him and a report I read said that Manning wanted to stay but Irsay would not discuss a contract restructure.

Hopefully Manning will resign with the Colts -- that's my last hope. :(
