What do you guys think about this? After all, Microsoft might send you some free software for doing so. Everyone would win.

I say we set up a huge list of spam haters. When a spammer is found, everyone sends the guy a letter in snail mail. Getting 10 000 snail letters will piss someone off right quick.

BUT, spam cost us, snail mail cost us. The only ones not losing money are the spammers. I say make them pay back the cost of bandwidth, wasted time, and mental anguish three times and make them stay in jail until they pay back every cent. Long jail time whilst being poor would be justice.

I don't understand why spammers still exist. Does anyone actually bother clicking or even looking at the crap that spam is advertising let alone buy it.

Okay, I have Outlook pretty efficiently sending all my spam and junk mail to my junk mail folder now. However I get around 20 messages a day in my junk mail folder and the stupid program doesn't have a function where you can delete the stuff out of your hard drive/mail file. It sends it to the deleted items folder. I actually keep stuff in my deleted mail folders that I don't consider current or important but still stuff that might come in handy some day. So I don't really empty the folder out. This means that in order to get rid of that junk mail, I have to seek it out in my deleted mail folder in order to get rid of it. Stupid Outlook (don't ask me why I use it - I have reasons).
I would rather the people who send this junk mail be paraded on the street naked and whipped to an inch of their lives.
