If you're upgrading from something worse, then sure! I worked on a guy's computer last year, had his system in his garage, it was a Logitech 5.1 system and it sounded very nice.

I have some dell subs rigt now. But I wanted to try these. So do you think the dells sound better or do the logitech sound better?
 
the z3s are ok, but they are really bass-y. They hit pretty hard if you're away from the desk, but sitting in the desk you'll probably feel like its too much bass. I usually have my woofer turned almost all the way down.
