My buddy let me borrow the DVD almost 8 months ago and I still haven't watched it.

I was gonna make some mac & cheese and watch it, but DAMN! 3 hours!

So should I stay up and watch it?

Do it, you won't do it!!! I have heard its a good flick, i have only caught parts of it on tv unfornetly, I am sure there are others who would agree its a good movie.
 
It is really a great movie - I highly recommend the movie. Very moving, there's a lot more to it than cocaine-moving cubans 🙂
 
Yes. In my opinion, it should be required for every kid over the age of 13 to watch it before high school and write a report about it.

I finally watched it earlier this year and thought it was terrible. It moved slowly and didn't really keep my interest. I had to break it up into 2 viewings to get through it all - I had hoped there would be some redeeming part at the end but alas, only a cheesy cliche gunfight.

I think that's probably the reason. I'm all about violence but prefer it in a war or murder/thriller setting. Scarface just didn't do it for me. Godfather is the next ultra-hyped movie I've never seen that I'm going to check out.
