Should I wash new underwear before wearing it?

I do because I wear hilfiger and such boxers which are typically on hangers at places like Macy's. So people are able to touch them and I always wash them first.

Same as olds though. I wash everything before wearing it for the most part.

I always do. So much clothing is made in dirty factories in 3rd world countries. Who knows how many rats and cockroaches were crawling on your clothes before you finally got them.

I don't know about before wearing them but you should definitely wash them after.

I've seen more rats and roaches in the US than in the third world.

A girl I knew had that issue with a bra she bought, had a nice rash on her chest because of it.

Just do a visual inspection first.....if you don't see rat pellets, skid marks, or insect parts on them, they are good to go without washing. ;)

If you get your "new" underwear from Goodwill or Salvation Army, then I would say washing first would be a good thing.
