Should I wait?

Ok...so, I've been planning out a new system to build for a week or now. This time around, money isnt a problem for the most part, so i decided to go all out. What I was wondering is if you guys think i should hold out a little longer for various reasons, which i will explain in a moment. This system will be based on a 1.2 Thunderbird, which will be overclocked eventually. I'm just listing the components I'm unsure about.

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-7DXR (Check out the info on it here).
Now, im not much of a tech, and my newbie a$$ hasn't heard of these guys.Anybody have any experience with these mobos? SHould i hold out for a 'bigger' brand (Abit, Asus..)? What I was going to do is wait for the Overclockerz store to modify the voltage on this or another ddr board, so i could get better overclocking performance. This board also has raid built in, which is a big plus.

Graphics Card -Elsa Gladiac Ultra.
Should i wait for the nv20? I keep hearing so much pumped up PR crap about how great it will be...and I also se it getting pushed back over and over and over...if Nvidia has such a stranglehold on the video card market, why would they bother releasing their new flagship chip when they can milk our wallets with the geforce2 for awhile longer?

Ram- 512mb of crucial ddr 1600

should i wait for 2100? Obviously its not available to consumers just yet..but wuld the performance increase be worth it?

any help/advice appreciated, thanks. keep in mind im an eternal newbie, so dont slam my judgement too hard, heh=(

I can't offer you any advice but I now how you feel. I'm in the same exact boat. Everyone here likes the MicroStar (MSI) boards but as far as I know they don't support 266FBS which is what I'm waiting on. I'm also waiting on the video card as well. I'm hoping a big push from the mobo companies will not only drive the price of mobo down but also kick the RAM mfgs in the @ss and get the DDRAM out faster and cheaper.

Does anyone know if/when MSI is going to release a board to support 266FSB?

Are there other mobo to consider?

Sorry didn't mean to highjack your thread.
