You seem to be a Droid hater based on a few threads I've read. Care to expand on how it's an awful phone and how it's overrated? Genuinely curious.

Seriously, I don't get it.

Motorola has always been known to have reliable, solid mobile phones. For a long stretch their phones looked ridiculous and carried bad software, but the hardware has always been quality. They have some of the best radios in the phones, offering terrific reception.

My best phones have been Motorola.
My Samsung phones, while they've been flashy, often fail in comparison to Motorola in terms of hardware.
Well, my Samsung A990 was a tank, though it would lock up on rare occasion. But I won't miss the Omnia.

Supposedly there is an HTC Bravo or HTC Passion (They may or may not be the same phone under a different name) coming to Verizon before the N1. The Passion is supposed to be the N1 but with multitouch enabled and HTC's Sense UI. The Bravo is supposed to be another Snapdragon handset. Not much is known; there are renders out for both. There was a leaked release date for April in Europe for the Bravo, but a few days later it was rumored to be coming out earlier in the US.
