Should I wait for DDR?

I'm about to upgrade my exisiting system to AMD TB system. However, AMD DDR is coming out very soon, and if I upgrade now I will miss out the DDR. Is DDR worth waiting? If yes maybe I will just temporary buy a cheap Duron and get rid of my exising Cel as it still have some little value. If not worth it, then I will just invest on the more expensive AMD T-Bird.....

But my main point is....
I wanna get rid of my exisiting system as soon as possible (within this week)
I wish to get DDR system but I can't wait for another month or two....
... because I can hardly survive w/o a computer...
so I definitely need a computer after selling the old sys but which one should I go for is a big question for me...

Any opinion about this?

Thanks

There appears to be little logic or background to your choice.
Socket A motherboards are very expensive so I can't recommend an SDR one. I suspect you just like bragging rights and that your celeron is fast enough anyway.

well, if it absolutely needs to be done, buya tbird and mboard now, and use that with whatever ram, etc you have. when the ddr boards and ram come out, buy a new board and ram and slap that tbird on there and you're good to go. should you wait? i don't know, there's always going to be something "just around the bend," so it's up to you. i just bought my new tbird system, so if that sways you...

i would say yes by all means wait!! the DDR ram and 133 FSB are worth it by themselves!! if you must though, but together a cheap duron system for now and OC it to 900 or so... any duron will do that!!
