Should I use stick-on convex mirrors on my side mirrors?

I am going to be moving soon, and my SUV will be so loaded that my rear view mirror will be blocked. Before potentially going to waste time and money, I was wondering what you guys think. Should I buy those little stick on convex mirrors? Will that actually help? Any other ideas?

The only place that might have stuff like that around here is either Wal-Mart or Advance Auto Parts.

I don't think they're necessary, at least, I don't find them to be so when towing a trailer (similar blocking of center rear-view). If you have your side mirrors adjusted correctly, you should be fine as long as you're a little more careful than usual when checking them.

The spotter mirrors cannot hurt, but remember that they will make things look much further away than they really are.

Well I ended up making the drive without the mirrors and was perfectly fine.

Driving on I-81 without a rear view mirror really sucked, though.
