Should I use official Radeon drivers or Beta?

at rage3d.com there are a lot of radeon beta drivers for win2k. should i install the latest beta? or use the latest official?

check the forums out at Rage3d and see what the people who have are saying. There are quite a few informative posts there. They now have a lock on the amount of downloads there as they have exceeded the amount they were allowed by eight times(hehe) There are posts about that too. I have the latest WHQL 5035(?) and I know i can get better performance out of my system but it might not be the drviers. I am new to W2K and know I still have a lot of tweaking to do. In the Q3 127 timedemo127 I get 29 fps at 800x600 w\o sound and everything maxed(I get over 1200 with W98SE same config). There has got to be a way to close the gap a little!

I am using the 3102 drivers with good results.

i would use the beta drivers. alot of improvement

you lucky guys....my performance dropped with the beta drivers. my 3dmark bench went down 200 points
