Should I use DX 8 or 7.0a with my Gerforce 2 Ultra??

either will work. but, if u plan on buying any newer games, they will ask you to install 8. for instance, clive barker's Undying and I think mechwarrior 4.

Stay with DirectX 7a until you get a game that requires DirectX 8a.
