hello looking foward to eighter the new intell boards and cpus or eighter amd bulldozer ...

question is i have a gtx 480 on a should i upgrade if so what would u say would bethe kinda top of the top gpu going into the new sandy bridge or bulldozer chipsset upgrades

i have all ways allways ran and been geforce .only dueot ati's bad repore with driver support .. has the driver support inproved as of yet ..

i guess what im thinking is i can unload my gtx 480 for around 200.00 then add what 150.00 to it for a new higher card ..if so what would the user out there say is the card to go with ....

If the noise levels or power consumption of the GTX480 do not bother you, I would wait until 28nm GPUs are released this year to upgrade. The GTX570 is barely faster than a 480 and a 580 is only about 15-18% faster but costs upwards of $500. So there is no reasonable upgrade path for you yet.

On a separate note, AMD drivers are perfectly fine; so don't hesitate to try an AMD card (perhaps if HD7000 series is released before NV's Kepler).
