Should I upgrade to ML?

I've been out of the loop for a bit but ML has been out for a few months now. Is there a consensus on whether it warrants an upgrade from Lion? I know it's only $20...question is whether it's worth the hassle or not....

I really enjoy it and have had no problems with it. But if your happy with Lion I wouldnt bother. Personally if you do want to upgrade I would wait for 10.8.3 patch next month. Its supposed to have some more fixes and better video drivers. Till then your copy of Lion may be over all more stable.

I had a 13" MBP Pro (mid-2010 with the Core2Duo processor) and battery life was much better on Lion than on Mountain Lion. (~6hrs on ML and closer to 8 on Lion)
But I still prefer to have iMessages in the OS (and the beta for iMessages for Lion expires really soon), so I will sacrifice the battery life.

ML is worth it, I have no issues whatsoever. I don't know about the battery issues because I haven't unplug it yet. 20.00 is a steal. Lion is like Windows Vista and ML is Windows 8. 🙂

I haven't noticed a change in battery life on my 2011 MBP. Still about 7.5 hours on 10.8.2.

I have noticed better battery life on newer devices. But on the Core2Duo powered machines, it is like ML doesn't scale down the processor like it used to.
