Currently, I have an MSI KT7Pro2-A, and a Duron 800 O'C'ed to 1000. The rest of my components are below, listed in my signature. Once in a while, certain games will corrupt the bios, and it needs to be flashed. Besides that, it runs ok, at a temp of 41C.
I have been looking at the deals, and the AMD Athlon XP 1700+ Boxed CPU w/Soyo AS-A750 BareBone System for $199 is very tempting. Tack on another $100 or so for a better video card and ram, and it seems like a good system.
Currently, I design web pages, graphics, do some programming, heavy internet use, and play some games. Is the $300 or so justified for an upgrade, or would I just be burning money? Thanx for any advice....
