I have a T-bird 1.2, 512 Pc-133 SDRAM, and Geforce 3 all on an Asus P7V133 MB. Upgrade prices are soooo cheap right now that I'm considering it even though my system is fast now. I can get an AMD XP 1700 with a K7S5A (SIS 735) MB for less than $200. I can continue to use my SDRAM for a couple of months and then move to 2100 DDR RAM. My question is, will i see improvement in my games? Does anyone have any comments/complaints about the K7S5A MB? Thanks for any advice.

You will probably get some improvements in games, but a lot of games are limited somewhat by the graphics card anyway.
I am not sure if the small improvements justify spending money.

The K7S5A ECS board worked well for me in conjunction with an XP 1600, other people report problems with the ECS from time to time, though.
It's not an overclocker board though, be aware of that.

I'd probably wait a little longer for upgrades, if I were in your shoes, but if you got the money, then why not?

Keep what you have. Upgrade prices should not get extremely high for a long time. You have a fast machine right now. Save your money and wait for ddr333 or something else, unless you really just have money sitting around. Also I would get a KT266a board instead of the SIS735. This will probably add a little to the cost though.

At the very least, you should wait until the week after Christmas. Even the online retailers should be having closeout sales and you might be able to get much more for your $.
