what is the reason one should upgrade the psu..i have a 300 watt psu with my new dell 2 core duo, 2gig memory, 8600 gt vid card..should i upgrade?? if i dont can the entire computer be fried as in a pile of junk..please advise
 
The only reason to upgrade is if you upgrade your system and the power needs of the system go up. SO if you ever upgrade that video card then you'll want to get a new PSU as well.
