I have an Asus CUSL2 MOBO with a P3-500 100FSB FPGA.
I'm thinking of upgrading the processor to a P3-1.13GHz 133FSB.
It would be a cheap upgrade between $50 and $113 depending on 256K or 512K.
The RAM on the MOBO is currently maxed out at 512.
Money is currently a big issue. $50 would be sweet for a noticeable bump.
I've seen some cheap deals on AMD processors including a VIA chipset MOBO for about $50 on AT.
Of course I'd have to get new RAM for an AMD rig and my current PS may not have the correct connector for an AMD MOBO.
What's the cheapest I could improve my current rig with what hardware and deals from where?
