Should I uninstall my old VIA 4-in-1's before installing the new ones?.....

.....or should I just install the new ones without uninstalling the old ones?

Just this past Saturday, I did not uninstall. When I downloaded the latest 429 all in ones, I installed over the top of my old 425 drivers, and it screwed me up. I had never had any problems before doing it this way. I had to format the hard drive and reinstall Win 98SE.

Yip, even the instructs while your installing say to uninstall the previous versions first.

Thanks, I haven't run the setup.exe yet so I didn't know it said that.
