Should I trust Microsoft Backup?

First let me explain my situation:

[Physical Disk 1]
C: Boot (WinXP) - 10GB
D: Boot (Win2K) - 10GB
[Physical Disk 2]
E: Files - 10GB
F: Mp3 - 15GB
G: Archives - 25GB
H: Movies - 20GB
[Physical Disk 3]
I: Backup - 40GB
J: Temp Space - 20GB
K: Temp Space 2 - 20GB

(and then figure in CD-ROM's & Network drives & I have everything A-Z taken up....anyways...)

Anyways....I want to back up portions of E,F,G & H -> I. Is Microsoft Backup trustworthy for this type of 40GB backup?

That's what's being used at my work place to back up web servers and stuff like that. Give it a shot...I think you can just do a system state backup and that'll back up how your system was. You can also back up all your files if you want. Hope this helps.
