Should I trade my 26" LCD for a 27" HDTV?

But a coworker has a week-old 27" HDTV -- this one: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-P2770H.../dp/B0032ANC00

Now he's getting a 27" imac and has offered me the 27" HDTV -is it worth it? I do a lot of gaming so don't want to sacrifice quality for a slightly larger screen size...

Why not get both?

If not, I would keep the lcd and save up for a HDTV down the road.

Your current monitor has a very nice adjustable stand whereas the TV doesn't have any adjustments at all. I would pass unless you really want the "TV" part of the TV.

you just are going to have to dig up what actual panel tech each uses.
