Should I tip my maid?

what is an appropriate tip? is it a % or dollar amount? The cost for the service is $35. God bless illegal immigrants. I never realized how good Condoleeza had it

more information is necessary... is it an unhappy ending because she is unwilling to satisfy, or is it unhappy because you are expecting more out of her than the service you bought provides.

If shes the one caught in the middle of your negotiations with her employer of exactly what is a 'happy ending' then YES you need to tip. If she is unwilling to do her best... NO tip

If she's cleaning for $35 bucks, a $20 tip would be huge for her.
It could result in a happy ending, or it could mean her illegitimate kids get to eat tonight.
The most important thing...
It might be the difference between her robbing you blind and just doing a nice job.

All kidding aside, toss her a 20 spot.
It's the right thing to do and I'm sure she can really use it.
