My son's elementary school has a new crossing guard. She probably has COPD or something because nobody can hear her whistle. Every time she blows, all the kids and parents look at each other confused, "uhhhh...was that the whistle or not?"

On top of that she is not assertive when she goes out onto the street to stop the cars. She will come out a little, half ass blow her whistle and then retreat back if she's not sure the cars see her. Wtf lady, stop the cars first and then blow your whistle hard. Stop confusing the kids

Grrrrr wtf

we have the opposite of that. one guard near my daughters school walks out when a kid gets about 30 yards from the corner then stands there blocking traffic glaring at drivers and blowing his damn whistle. he will even wait until all the kids near him go through. no matter how long it takes.

Not really. I can't tell you how many times I have thought of just flooring it and running over the little bitches while the idiot stands there waiting for some fat little shit to waddle 20 yards to cross.
