no they're not, if you put a 21" CRT on Craigslist it will be gone within a week. It might be a small % but there are still some of us who only use CRT's. I bought 5 21-22" CRT's off CL's last year, price was too good to pass up. OP's potential monitor is a Diamontron which is baaad ass, as long as the monitor still looks good. No way in hell I'd take a LCD over a good Diamontron!

so true. good point.Originally posted by: Patt
I considered one here at work too ... 22" behemoth. Decided against it because no one else wanted to help me get it to my car. Well, that, I seriously wasn't sure the table I use as a desk would support the weight long-term
Don't do it ... the missus will likely be pissed![]()

Got a thiple monitor setup on my main desk (2 PCs, using synergy so I can treat the second PC as if it were just another window on the main box, 24inch LCD in the middle and then 19inch CRTs on each side), I wouldn't mind making my secondary machine into a dual monitor setup![]()

So it looks like a boat now?
that's what happens when you put a 100lb monitor in the center of a folding 6-ft tableOriginally posted by: loki8481

if I remember right (got rid of the desk like 5 years ago), the center was like 2-3 inches lower than the ends.
