Should I take the time to repost my help thread?

It would be much easier to just stick it up on my website and then people can post any questions they have here. Anybody have a problem with this?

I think it would also be much easier to post it on your website....

If you do, however, decide to post it here....I would Cut and paste all the "REAL TYPED" information into a file on you PC so that you could just simply cut and paste it again at a later time

Yeah, I'd agree that it would be easier to put it on your website. That way it's easy for you to change if necessary, and you don't have to worry about it mysteriously disappearing from the forums...

On your site definately, why not post a link to it on the Team Site also? The Seti section needs a little sprucing up anyway, including a link to your page will be useful for recruits that might wander by.

Personally I found it to be extremely helpful

It should be permanently stuck at the top of the page

Absolutely, it was great. I pointed to it several times when talking about SETI@home in some of the other forums.

I think it would also be worthwhile to re-post the actual thread, it makes a nice centralised location on the board for SETI help and resources and such.

Also, for OK's proxy, spell it out so people can cut and paste it into their SQ or other programs.
