Should I take a C++ class during the summer?

I don't have anything to between the time my school gets out and early August, and that's when my school is offering this class . . .

6 weeks, 5 days a week, 4 hours a day with a break for 4th of July . . .

Ahh, all right, I guess I'll fill the form out . . .

If I take it during the year, its 2 nights a week, 2½ hours each, but I dont really like night classes . . .

Plus my school has a requirement that makes you take a semester computer class to graduate, so I gotta get it out of the way

Do you know any programming languages?

hehe . . . NO 😱

i just became interested in computers last year

I'd take an introductory programming class before you dive into something like that. Or at least make sure you can drop it a couple of weeks into it. 4 hours a day, 5 days a week is a lot of instruction/work.

A lot of people go into programming expecting to like it because they like "building" computers for people, or because they're decent troubleshooting stuff. Then they see what it really is and want to get the heck out.

I've spent hours debugging a program only to learn that I was missing a fvcking semi-colon. Not fun indeed.

Why take summer courses duiring high school? Enjoy your last few summers.

Work 8-4 or 9-5 and have fun at night. Working should be more of a priority for you at this point anyway.
