Should I splurge and buy a high def LCD tv and Xbox360?

For the TV it'd be for a bedroom. Nothing being than 36'' max. I'd probably be looking for a 26-32"" LCD though.

personally, i would cancel on the xbox360 and get a better tv with the money you save. but then again, i haven't been much into gaming recently and my xbox360 is basically just a media center right now.

Im addicted to Fight Night round 3, and thats why I wanted to get one. Thing is I can't justify a 360 unless I get a good TV to play it on. My ****** Zenith tube tv isn't going to cut it anymore.

go for it. I bought a 360 and a 22 inch LCD. Wish I had waited a year, could have bought a 32 inch LCD for the same price I paid for a 22 inch last year

i managed to scrounge up enough for a 360, but i did get a hell of a deal. even on a sony 27 flat screen with only composite video cords it looks pretty bada$$ then again i only have a x800 series card so im not used to HDR etc. only HD i can use now is a 15" Hisense and it looks really nice on that especially with the upgrade to component video. So i would assume it would look nice on a larger HDTV as well.

my deal retail price
Xbox 360 deluxe 320$ $400
Nikon racing wheel 12$ $90
Burnout: revenge 32$ $40-60
(all parts brand new unopened 90 day warranty, and i have the reciept)
[ /deal]

all in all after tax it was only $395 which is less than the price of a 360 deluxe w/o tax
i'd say thats a hell of a deal

as ofr getting a 360 i would but make sure u get dead raising when it comes out (assuming ur into zombie games) because that looks sweet, and it should release sometime very soon

*i take no responsibility for grammar/spelling errors*

Edit: i will take responsibility for that typo i first typed urban dead which is a free to play mmorpg instead of Dead raising

You need both or at least an upscaling dvd player to go with the lcd tv to make it worth it.

I'd go with a good projector over a bigger TV. More bang for the buck. Unles you are staying around the 32" area because of a space limitation and not a cost limitation...
