should i soak my turkey in beer?

ive marinated our turkey in beer for many years. just brushing the beer on slowly.

now we use other stuff (forgot what it was) , but some years we still use beer. it tastes good! trust me.

i would say marinade using a bunch of herbs and lemons and onions and shallots

Heh...

I think a liquid has to be like 80 proof or somewhere around in there before it will burn. ;) So no, beer won't burn.

You could baste your turkey in Everclear for a week, but you aren't going to get drunk after you cook it and eat it...... lol

Alcohol = teh low boiling point.
