Should I skip the final tomrrow because I will fail anyway?

Took this introduction to differential equation class, it's only 3 credits, so I thought it would be a walk in the park.
But no, math has to fvck me in the ass.
I think i got a 0 out of 120 on my second midterm, I didn't bother getting the midterm back.
So right now I trying to take a look at the final exam, I don't know what the hell is going on.
So I think I will get a big fat 0 out of 240 in the final exam.
Should I even bother to go?

I took pass/fail and I failed, fvck me.
Sample final
Is this normal for this class or did I just get into the extra difficult differential equation class?

Ouch, man. I remember that stuff vaguely, took it two and a half years ago now. i'd recommend at least looking over the solutions and seeing if you can get partial credit on the final.

Is there any way you can pass the class still? If there is even a cold chance in hell of passing, I would go and at least try...

My econ400 final is tomorrow too, I've spent my whole weekend studying for that.
I should be set in that class. 95 first midterm, 99 second midterm, really hope I can 4.0 that 400.
But 307 is in a whole other level. I don't know what is going on.
I still don't know how to anser the questions even with the answers in my hands.

Congrats on acing 400, I got a 2.1 in that class two years ago. I hated it. I got a 3.7 in Math 307, though. 😀

Professors really love it when you quit trying.

You should have been talking with your teacher, if they knew you were trying then they might have been able to help you pass.

how are you going to feel knowing that you lost the battle without even going to war?
If you can live with that, don't bother going to take the final.

I bet you'll get 50% if you write down everything you know. It's worth it to try. Getting a D is a whole lot better than an F. (I'm assuming you might be able to get a D)

Haha I've been there but over a lot easier classes. Never read a single page of British lit so midterm rolls around I was just like fvck it I need to drop this class. 😛

Why are you posting on ATOT? Go study or sleep!

No offense, but I am taking an introductory Differential Equations class as well, and I find that practice final of yours quite easy.

some of thats pretty tricky in places, but its not too bad at all

one of the things i've learned is don't give up no matter what. i have had hard classes and always talked with the teacher, somehow i pass.

If there's no way you can pass, I wouldn't bother going. Too late to kiss the prof's ass now anyway.
It's just wasting your time and his/hers if you go with no chance to pass.

Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time, I took a calculus class. Did well on the first test. Stopped going. Did barely passable on the second test, and outright failed the third. When it was time for the final, I wasnt even close to even somewhat prepared, but since I paid for the class, I went anyway. I put 0 and 1 for the vast majority of the questions. I failed miserably. By all my calculations, I should have miserably failed the entire class as well. But I realized something that day....never underestimate the stupidity of your fellow students. Some way, some how, I managed to get a C in the class. Not only was that good enough to pass, but that was good enough for major credit. If youre doing terrible, chances are many other people are as well, and the curve will be serious. Just go.

Hah, something we all learn in university is that the "Bird courses" are so fvcking boring and unenjoyable that they often become our lowest grades.

Any way you can get a medical certificate for that exam? And then arrange a make-up exam?

find a friend who is doing well in that class. ask him to explain to you the sample final step by step. understand how to solve each type of question in the sample final. i think that should get you by...
