that's how I always send them, and like Spikey said, I've always gotten them just fine. It may be worth it for high-dollar rebates to send it with DC, if that helps ease your mind....because you have proof it got there.

It depends on the rebate processor's rating, too. If they are known for giving hassles, then I'd use certified mail (w/o return receipt, with receipt is just too expensive, but at least you have proof you sent it in time) for rebate greater than $50.
