Neither. Since the slow down started I had to get rid of my BMW and I can't wait till I get another one. I always showed people the trunk first and said the quality in the trunk alone is better than most cars.

The M5 is a 2003 and the X5 is a 2002 4.6is. Both cars are almost identical. The M5 is a great performer but driving stick in Boston traffic really sucks. Plus I can't really drive it in the snow so its garaged for most of the year. The 4.6is is nice but it really chugs down the gas (16MPG). So as a daily commuter it's not 100% practical.

Perhaps something like the new Toyota Prius as a daily driver?

Obviously, sell the X5. The M5 just became a collector item. :)

Nope. :Q

Just kidding :p ... Seriously how much for that m5? I have a 91 Jetta that i would glad to do a trade straight up for. It needs a muffler and has no shocks left. Otherwise its pretty much a rebadged m5. : O

Why would you give a $hit about gas mileage when you have two $70,000 cars?

The Prius is a VERY nice, ecominical car. I was luckly enough to be one of the first people in the US to drive them. The car was all in Japanese and i somehow managed to break the computer in the dash :p My dad works for Toyota and was one of the first saleman trained in the US to sell them. If your looking for something supercheap on gas a prius is very nice.

Since you have to ask, I suggest you sell the M5 to someone who can appreciate it, and hold on to your mommy-van-yuppie-SUV.
