Should I sell my iPod?

I've got much better, more fun uses for the money right now. I paid $150 for it and haven't turned it on yet due to lack of a power source. I think I may just want to recoup the $150 by reselling it on ebay again as-is. My brother has an iPod so I can just use his connector to power it up and make sure it works, oogle it for a while, then relist. I'm not so sure though- I've wanted one for a while, but now that I physically have it, and not putting it to use... I find that I didn't really need/want it so much.

The other projects the money would go to are robots and tiny tiny go-karts.

i can't understand why people want to own crap they won't use, like dvds they watch once and then put on the shelf to collect dust. if you don't use something then trade or sell it to get something you will use, why is this a hard concept to grasp? i go through my crap every few months and get rid of stuff i'll never use anyway.

I'm not buying robots and mini-go karts, I'm buying that parts to make them. Mu haha.
