i never said would buy honda, most likely if i would to buy a new car it would be bmd ,lexus or benz.

i want your money.

by far your best value will be driving it into the ground. selling it after you just took the huge "drove it off the lot" value hit and letting someone else get all the value out of it would be plain stupid. the fact that you are even considering this makes me wonder if you have a full set of marbles up there.

you can get a model from any of those, brand new for same price as his '03 accord.

I'm inclined to say no, but if you find a way to sell the car without incurring a loss, I wanna hear about it. 😀

However, I have heard of people who sell/trade in a car after just one year, and when factoring in the mileage/usage of the vehicle, they basically didn't lose out. The nice thing about hondas is that the resale value on these things can sometimes be unreal.

personally, i hate c-classes. i would rather have a cheapers car that is fully loaded rather than a c-classes

No, why can't people be content with what they have for a while? I don't mean this in an old fart kind of way - but if you're constantly buying new things that you can barely afford you'll never have the money for something _nice_. You'll be stuck forever in an accord kind of car, while somebody with more restraint drives their accord for 6 years and then their next car is an Acura TL. They drive that for 6, and their next is a BMw 5 series. People, stop replacing things that aren't broken, because we both know you don't have the money to anyway!

Oh your next car might be a benz. Well if you're not making this up (of course the low end benz doesn't count), you can get a new benz every year, or drive a car for a several years at a time and make your next car a porsche. Anyway you cut it replacing a car everyyear is a fantastically efficient way at wasting money, but i've said enough on that.

If it's the V6 Accord Coupe I'll take it off your hands if it's cheap =p

Go figure out what the dealer will give you in cash and I"ll beat it by $50 =P

But if he clears 20-30K/mo, what difference will it make? Its all depend on one's income level. Not to say that I disagree with your point though.

I rather doubt he clears 20-30k/mo. Probably makes $24k/year & lives with his mom 🙂 Eitherway $25k/month is a mere $300k/year which is still not enough to be throwing away the resale depreciation on a luxury car each year IMO.

I can't wait to get to the point in my life when I can say "a mere $300k/year"!!

I agree, rather have a fully loaded accord than a stripped pos benz
