I live in San Francisco.
My car only gets driven once a week on average (usually for grocery shopping trips and when I have friends in town).
I think if I sold it I could get about $15k which would pay off my credit card and buy me a new motorcycle.
I took out a home equity loan to buy my car a year ago, so I would still be making payments on my home equity loan for something I dont have. But, it would be better than making credit card payments I suppose.
I have never been without a car before and it makes me a little uneasy. Do those of you living in big cities without cars struggle at all? Like with buying groceries, doing laundry, etc?
