MSG sucks ... it doesnt bother me .... but e_mc_2 has a serious reaction from it ... it is really hard on his heart .. so I have had to start reading labels on everything when we go grocery shopping .... who knew that some taco seasonings even had it in there ... made a mistake one night and didnt read the ortega backing and made tacos (using two packs no less) he got so sick ... he was like are you trying to kill me??? I felt soooo bad ... I always check everything now.

<< You shouldn't have had a second thought about going to the ER when you have insurance. >>

Scary concept, not to have medical insurance. It doesn't usually cross my mind up here in Canada, since everyone is covered. (I have the tax bills to prove it. :p)

Nothing like Chinese food to mess me up.
When we usually eat Chinese its at a buffet restuarant and I never felt like this there.
But this time is was birthday dinner to we went to a more formal sit-down restaurant.
Go figure.

Anyway I just slept for about 14 hours & I am still tired. I guess its the drugs vs. the allergen thats doing this. Hands are less puffy. I am no longer itchy.

There are 2 reasons why I considered not going to the ER.
1.) Every time I go to the ER = something bad happened
I went to the ER in 1999 for eye problems. I went to the ER in 1996 for asthma attack. After watching TLC's "Trauma: Life in the ER" I find the ER to be interesting but I never get a chance to observe since I am the one with the problem.

2.) I ate out at another chinese restaurant this summer & had a similar but milder reaction. I dropped some bennedryl & slept. When I woke up I was fine.

Dammit! My body wants to sleep again.
Should I take in some caffeine (Snapple Iced Tea) to counter the drowsiness?

Until Later.

I'm guessing your off from school/work today. My advice: get some rest, it does a body good. Relax while you can, you'll be back to work or school soon enough and wishing you had gotten some extra sleep.
