Question Should I reuse this case/PS?

Hey guys, I bought an extremely nice setup 8 years ago and due to a multitude of issues, I didn't really get to use it. I'm looking to build another PC(hopefully in 2022 if the next batch of GPU's price comes down) and wanted your thoughts on reusing my old case and PS. Both are very high end but I've been out of the game for awhile so don't know if they're compatible with newer stuff or if newer cases/PS's have something I should consider upgrading to. Thanks.

Should be good to go. The only two minor issues, more and more "modern" (AMD B550, X570, Intel 10th/11th/12th-Gen, esp. 12th-Gen) have TWO +12V EPS12V sockets for the CPU and board. Your PSU is high-end enough that it probably came with multiple CPU +12V cables, might need to dig those out.

Also, PCI-E 5.0, is rumor to standardize the 12-pin +12V GPU connector, as seen on Founder's Edition 3000-series GPUs (the higher-end ones). Most cards that utilize that connector, also come with an adapter cable that can utilize two 8-pin PCI-E +12V cables (separate strands!), and combine them into the necessary 12-pin connector.

IOW, dig out your cables for that PSU, but other than that, you should be Good to Go.

There haven't been any really major specification standard changes other than what I detailed.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Ya this PSU is a beast, so should still work fine if I can find the cables. The case is also a beast. I was worried the newer motherboards may have issues, but it seems the "biggest" issue vs the newer style cases is the updated USB ports vs my older ones and of course some cases have front USB-C ports.

I had a very high end water cooling setup that would prob only need a few updated pieces, but I don't want to go down that road again. I originally built it with 2 r9 290's for mining, but couldn't ever get the 2 cards to work together. There's quite a long thread in these forums where we tried to figure it out. Anyways thank you for your feedback.
