Saw this eBayer listing computers with Office 2003 Professional included. The auction said the software was "pre-installed", but made no mention of including the original CDs or C.O.A. that would normally come with the software if it was legit.
Fired off a e-mail to the seller asking if Office CDs were included for reinstallation purposes, and they replied by saying that you can only reinstall the software through Windows System Restore. I know that legal copies of Office always include the software CDs and C.O.A., whether you buy them retail or from an OEM like Dell.
Report or ignore?
FYI, usually I'm not a nark about piracy, but when someone uses pirated software and shady business practices to gain an advantage over others in a marketplace, it ticks me off. And this eBayer is selling pirated software to countless people who think they're paying for the real thing.
