meh i just dont see it as that huge of an issue, i dont think there's ever been a case of anyone drowning because someone was too stoned to save them, besides the ridiculous war on drugs propoganda commercial that used to air on television.

Where Scott Baio's character accidentally clocks his older brother with a boat oar, resulting in his death IIRC. I was forced to watch this at least twice while attending public school. Although none of us had smoked pot at that age, all of my peers recognized it as bullshit at the time.

If it were up to me, I would ban the OP and his kids from the pool.

Except, they're not just babysitting. They are charged with the safety of everyone occupying the pool. You think someone toking up is going to react as quickly to a situation where a kid is drowning? Yeah, not happening.
