i got spammed by a US Senator who doesn't even represent me.

Dear Friend,

I'm taking the liberty of contacting you because I believe you care about
the future of our country and the challenges of dealing with terrorism,
economic recession and rising unemployment, skyrocketing health care costs,
and an education system that is not serving all our children.

As a U.S. Senator, I deal with these issues every day. I'd like to keep in

Doesn't look legit. Look at the hotmail reply address.

I didn't find anything at http://www.edwardsforsenate2004.com/ or http://edwardsforsenate2004.com/ either.

My guess is that its a spammer trolling for some "unsubscribe" replies to get good email addresses.

Post the header information to make sure.
