I think that all depends on you. Since you aren't looking for a boot drive, the boot and random access times are of little concern. The fact that file transfer times are about 40 percent faster is an OK reason, and the price of the F3 is cheap, really. But if you already have three copies of everything, and you have several images of various snapshots of your OS/programs drive, so you can recover from a disaster easily, you don't really need more disks for backup.
