2D varies quite significantly between manufacturers though, it's certaionly not great on all GF3's. Which GF3 do you have?

Regarding DVD the image quality isnt as good as that of a Radeon, nor is the performance as good, but with any kind of a decent processor it should still be more then fast enough to play DVD's, and the image quality difference between the Radeon and GF3 isnt terribly significant IMHO.
Beyond that I"ve already stated my opinion in his previous thread.

I'd keep the Radeon until the next gen cards come out. Its not worth buying now, no games even use DX8 features yet.

How about get the GF3 and sell it back at a better price.
I read your previous thread, most cards out there have hardware DVD playback support including Nv, Here. If you read the entire articles, you will find out that it is not as good as the ATI.

If gaming performance is not what you looking for, then don't Because GF3 is about sheer performance and nothing else. While ATI have the feature you need.

Well you hardly can get a GF3 at that price.
