I have a 600e not overclocked cuz my westeren digital 20gig hdd cant seem to take it :( I think I'm gonna be waiting for quite a while though, so should i just replace it with a faster celery for now? I mostly just play games like CS and Deus Ex on this comupter plus RC5 cracking! :)

How'd you get to platinum asking a dumb question like that? Go over to Tom's hardware and you'll see a 933 (which doesn't exist, let's say 950) will do like an 800e@133.I have a feeling you won't notice the difference, whatever you may be doing with it...

What MOBO do you have? If you have an old crapy board, get a new MOBO and run your 600@800, which would smoke any cel! For probably about the same $ as a new cel.

And the fastest Cel is a 766, and a PIII600 would probably out run it.

Rigoletto - I would guess "Platinum Member" came from OT!

Call me crazy, but I would dump that hard drive and get a Maxtor 20GB or something for $99 then overclock the 600 to 800. Man, that would be the day that I would change processors because of a hard drive. Sell that sucker on e-bay or here letting people know it's limitations.

I have a 6BA+IV with 2 Maxtor drives on the HP ATA66 controller and I had a 600e@800 in it stable and now a 700@933 stable.

DUMP THE HARD DRIVE!
