Should I remove the Tripod banner on my webpage?

Do tripod's servers not scan your pages to make sure the code is included?

Except for ther "gallery" page, none of it is even remotely interesting. Based on that, I don't think it matters if it has a tripod banner or not, becuase nobody's going to be looking at it.

It doesn't matter. IE will still render the page right anyway.

Hell, its a personal page. I am not trying to make a bandwidth saturated commercial page.
