PBase was meant to be a photography site where people can subscribe and upload photos they have taken. I personally use it as a picture storage where I can upload anything I ever wanted to share.
My first "Hottie" gallery was just pictures of Elisha Cuthbert, I've just admired her beauty, so I put them up. Since then, its grown into a desktop girl wallpaper gallery. Then I uploaded hundreds of pictures of Next Door Nikki. Then the assgirl came into play, I just uploaded her a couple of minutes ago, and I began to wonder about the ethics of my hottie gallery. Since NDN/Assgirl is pretty close to soft-core porn, I'm feeling abit guility about what I've uploaded.
Now then, I do upload pictures I've taken. Its great for doing that, and its by far, one of the best services I've paid for. I do want to share the Hotties gallery, but I feel like I'm in violation of what PBase was meant to be, a picture gallery for photographers.
Now, I know some of you may enjoy the pictures, and thats great, thats what it was meant to do, but can you honestly vote and take in consideration what PBase was originally about? It certainly isn't about softcore porn. Then again, I'm also paying for the service. Also take into consideration the bandwidth I'm using.
I have 200mbs for now, and thats currently fine. But according to my calculations...
558,000 (hits) x 200 (kb) = 116,600,000 kb = 116.6gb of bandwidth!
Thats crazy!
I've decided to remove the link from my sig (though, you can still find it if you actually tried), so I'm not just trying to get attention to the site, I'm just asking an ethical question.
Do you feel since I'm paying for the service, I should be able to upload whatever I want? Or do you feel that I am against the principles that the PBase service was created for?
Thanks
EDIT: Removed from the sig for as long as this post is being replied too
