I have a copy of both in my basement. If I ever fly somewhere, I'll bring them along, otherwise they're too long for me to bother now.

Read Fountainhead first. Its better, IMHO.

Atlas Shrugged, Fountainhead are two epics by Ayn Rand. of the two, Fountainhead is the easier read, Atlas Shrugged is a lot more intense.

Depends on your views; I've read atlas shrugged twice (about 10yrs apart). I may read the Fountainhead again, but I'm sure I'll pick up Atlas Shrugged again.

Atlas Shrugged was a great book; albeit Rand has a tendency to write 30-50 page monologues that are easily summed up in one. That said, you can't go wrong with either.
