Should I raise VCore just because Prime95?

At 1.525v vcore, seems my P4 1.6A can run everything (including Sandra burn-in, memdoc burn-in, and 3DMark) except Prime95 (can run couple hours, but will give an error). To pass 12-hour Prime95 test, I had to raise VCore to 1.6V, that means my fully loaded temp is 52C instead of 45C.

So, should I run my CPU hotter just for Prime95?

that's up to you...my experiences were similar with my 1.4 ghz athlon.....it ran at 1520 + at default voltage and was very stable for weeks. However I started playing RtCW and did notice that it would lock up once in awhile. My point is if you run cpu intensive apps. you may need to raise the vcore if you experience errors or lockups but otherwise if you're happy with the performance just leave it as is.

No, don't up the voltage unless you actually notice any instability in your system. If you do, then a modest increase to 1.55/1.575 V shouldn't hurt anything.
